Anna M. Cashman

Anna joined the firm in 2010, and her practice focuses on estate planning, taxation, probate, trust administration, and trust and estate litigation matters. She enjoys working with a broad range of clients, from young families looking to secure their children’s future, to clients in need of sophisticated tax planning and litigation strategy. Anna graduated from Seattle University School of Law, magna cum laude, and earned her Masters of Law in Taxation from the University of Washington. While in law school, Anna studied global human rights advocacy at the Mandela Institute at the University of the Witwatersrand School of Law in Johannesburg, South Africa, and was a legal clerk to the Honorable Richard McDermott at the King County Superior Court. Anna has served as the Young Lawyer Liaison for the Washington State Bar Association's Real Property, Probate & Trust Section, currently serves as its Newsletter Editor, writing articles on noteworthy trust and estate issues, and is a member of its Executive Committee. Anna is currently serving as the chair of the WSBA Taxation Section’s Estate and Gift Tax Committee, and is a frequent author and lecturer on trust and estate topics.
